It’s an early morning here, and I wanted to say Merry Christmas from me to you. Right now I’m typing this in bed as I drink a delicious black coffee. My back is resting on my pillows and my legs and feet are laying under warm covers—I should do this more often.
Of course I couldn’t put my laptop down and miss a blog post, even on Christmas. This is probably because working on Take Your Success doesn’t feel like work to me. I’m being completely honest when I say that, for the most part, I enjoy every second of building this website and expanding its reach! Plus, everyone else is still asleep.
Christmas is my favorite holiday because I’m a Christian and this day brings a clear reminder that life is bigger than myself. This perspective is so refreshing compared to the average day hustle of to-do lists, trying to fit everything into my schedule, and pressure. It’s much easier today to focus on spending quality time with people you care about and getting breathing room from the external noise.
And I believe that success doesn’t mean much if you have no one to share it with, so reconnecting with loved ones is key. Anyway, that’s my two cents.
Lastly, I will be sure to get back to writing about success-related topics soon. For now, I want to encourage you to relax, enjoy time with your family and friends, and think of what you’re grateful for this holiday season. If you’re alive and reading this, then you’re already blessed in a big way.
Merry Christmas!
